So much so that when you ring EDF, with a touch tone phone the computer asks does this call relate to such and such name/address, if so press 1. Once you get to the end of the menu and talk to someone, and start asking specific questions related to the bill for this person, you then find you have to give their reference number again!!!!!Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh. Judie Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 It's been happening to me for years. In both my jobs, I'm expected to contact EDF and other utilities on a very regular basis. EDF are the only ones who make me want to scream too.I also don't understand why they can't trace accounts by lieu-dit, they always need a name, and sometimes I don't have that, especially when the previous occupant hasn't lived there in more than 20 years.Hey ho, such is life!!
