Sunday Driver Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 As far as hiring is concerned, motorhomes are very expensive vehicles (costing anywhere between 40,000€ and 130,000€) and this is reflected in the commercial hire charges which are quite high. The main reason is that if they are damaged, the repair costs are likely to be extensive and the time off-hire can be quite long. For this same reason, I think it unlikely that you will find anyone willing to hire out their personal pride and joy to a couple of strangers.
