Redirecting mail

Does anyone have any recent experience of having mail redirected from a French address to an English one?

I did a search but the last post was in 2005.

Any uptodate info would be great.

Yes, it works just fine, just go to your local post office and ask for the international redirection form, get it filled in hand it in along with a cheque and voila, you'll get your post in the UK. Did ours twice, renewed it after six months.

Works perfectly - even down to amending the forwarding address in the UK on line - because La Post misread my appalling handwriting on the original form!!
