Rose Posted April 20, 2010 Share Posted April 20, 2010 Guess what... like 1000's of others our flights have been cancelled [:(] We were due to fly to the UK on thursday for a holiday with family and friends but... So we've decided to take a trip down to the Med instead, ideally fairly close to Perpignan... so we're gite hunting... we're looking for 2 bedrooms and a pool(we'd prefer sole use), within 30 minutes of the coast and a few places to visit that would keep a 11 year happy... and feel compensated for his cancelled trip to the UKAnyone got anything for 5 days from this coming Saturday? Yesterday it was cancelled, then last night when the airports opened the cancelled flight list was removed... but we had already followed the links as advised to cancel and apply for a refund... spent ages on the phone today trying to see if we were still booked or cancelled... then a new list at lunchtime with our flight still cancelled... then a link saying all was changing... then the flight was back on again... and at about 8:00pm we got an email saying we were confirmed on the flight... so fingers crossed this time tomorrow we'll be in the UK.thanks for all your suggestions and help but for now I think we're sorted :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
