It seems the Army have made Mubarak an offer he couldn't refuse, and tell the Crowd ''Everything you want will be realised!''[:)]

One can now hope with increased confidence that the events in Egypt will herald a new Pan-Arabism based on social justice and freedom.

In stark contrast to the past with endless vacuous banal slogans worthy of communist europe.

I hope and believe so, there are many hurdles sure, but from what the Army has done so far and the demeanor of the crowd, they have this intention. By some ironic twist of communication and not control the West does seem to have had some influence if not inspiration for democracy after all and the Egyptians seem to me, to be a million miles away from the palestinians and Iranian fundamentalism.
