Alan Zoff Posted March 7, 2016 Share Posted March 7, 2016 A friend with limited funds wishes to take advantage of a cheap flight deal and the new Flixbus service to visit us as cheaply as possible next month at our home north east of Montlucon. He was surprised to discover that the trickiest part of the journey was from the airport to the bus pick-up point near the rail station in Limoges. The express bus for the 154 kms to Montlucon costs just 7 euros(!) which is only a little more than a quarter of the taxi fare between airport and bus stop. I would be interested to hear from anyone who makes the transfer from the airport regularly and knows of a cheaper alternative that might be frequent enough to fit in with the Flixbus service. You have probably already seen it.Bla bla car might be an option to get a lift from the airport to your home.
