Frederick Posted August 23, 2010 Share Posted August 23, 2010 If anyone has friends or relatives likely to be in the sea off the Vendee at the moment .Might be a good idea to text them and advise they take some vinegar on the beach with them .. I have seen many large jellyfish washed up on the beach this year A couple of days ago my 9 year old grandaughter found out what they sting like while swimming The beach guard had gone to lunch so she got no treatment .Vinegar takes away the sting ...and I am feeling guilty for not warning them they were there now and suggesting they carry some ..
