Pushkin
I am trying to draw up a shopping list of foods which I need to take with me when we move to France back end of April. Has anyone got any helpful suggestions? I am a vegetarian (hubby too)so I have already got Soya, Sosmix and Burgermix on my list.Sue
Chrisb
The main things we ask my husband to bring back on his weekly commute are PG Tips Tea bags for me and Shreddies for my eldest son who cannot start the day with anything else!! Also, things like Custard powder, Golden Syrup, Marmite, Peanut Butter (which you can find, but not easily)etc. etc.Chris
Judyc
I always bring back a good supply of Indian pickles and poppadums, and Digestive biscuits as the ones here are extremely expensive. Also, believe it or not, J Cloths! French ones seem small and insubstantial compared to British ones! Judy
LesLauriers
Red Lentils. You can get various sorts but the little red ones are difficult to find and I have a delicious Red Lentil Curry recipe with lots of fresh ginger in it.
Lesbatees
Would suggest Gelozone or another veggie alternative if you use it. Hubby claims to have seen something similar in a local health food shop, but we haven't been back yet to check.Val
