Patf
This is related to the "Feeding french People" thread. One of our french neighbours has just started a course of chemotherapy. He will be back and forwards to hospital for the next three months. We don't know them very well but I would like to take a gift of food now and again. The ideas I've come up with are a homemade loaf, lemon curd, and cheesecake. (Not all at once.)Perhaps too stodgy? Can you think of anything else? Pat. Val_2
My brother in law had a year of chemo and radiotherapy and a friend here had chemo recently. Both mentioned that they suffered with a burning sensation in the throat and stomach so you need to provide something not too spicy or acidy I think.
