Val_2 Posted August 9, 2004 Share Posted August 9, 2004 Yes, but only teeny weeny bottles of Sarsons - about half a pint I think and to make chutney you will need a few pints, very expensive. See if you can find someone going or coming back from the UK who can get one of those plastic containers for you. I always use Cider or Shallot vinegar here in France for chutneys and have done so for years with excellent results.
