They had an interview with Tobias Hill.

Years ago I ran a loose knit poetry club. I don't really like poetry competitions it was a group decision they wanted one.

Quid to enter only unpublished poets elligible. £250 prize for winner.

We had sack loads of entries.

There were three of us judging, one a friend a published poet with a PHD in literature.

He rang me up saying one entry was head and shoulders above any other, he couldn't believe the standard,  it was either plagarism or an incredible new poet.

You guessed it was Tobias Hill he came and read for us and collected his prize. It was good to have helped him out in a small way on his path to well deserved success.
