There is nothing like black and white photography to emphasize light and shade (or can you prove me wrong with your colour photos?).

This was taken in Copenhagen by my OH who still uses manual cameras only and prints the photos in our bedroom in the attic!

And it's good for metal, and trees, and textures (I could go on!).

P.S. Jonzjob - I'm about 1.5 hour's drive from Carcassonne, in Herault (or rather wish to be there more often - full time in UK, I'm afraid...)

Yes I was also surprised to see the lack of colour when I down loaded the pics, but it was a very grey wet day, if it wasnt for the green of the grass in other pics i would of wondered if i had accidently turn it to the blk and wht option, but here you can see some brown in the rocks but the sea is still just as grey.
