Army Surplus Clothing

I don't suppose anyone knows of any online sellers of ex-Army clothing in France?

No, but we used to have an army surplus goods store very near us, just on the main road, very visible, looked eye-catching, and bang in the middle of an area with great WW2 interest. It only lasted a few months, so perhaps that says something about the demand for such things in France. Ebay is probably your best bet.

We have a good one called KAKI at Peronne in Picardie, they have another branch somewhere down south but I know not where.

I have bought loads of stuff there it is second only to the one I found in Auckland New Zealand where I bought a French army gore-tex bivvi bag big enough for an 8 foot giant or me and my two rucksacks to sleep in.

Might be worth dropping in next time you travel down.

There's one near Utah beach (Quinneville?) which is open Tuesday to Friday.  One of our guests came armed with a flyer about it in July and couldn't wait to get there, having arrived on Saturday and having to wait til Tuesday?!

While I was in Grenoble last year there was an articulated lorry selling army surplus one day a week at each town, it looked to be mainly clothing for la chasse.

On the road from Mirambeau to Pons there is an establishment remarkable by having two of those fatal-accident-happened-here silouettes draped in camoflage gear.

I guess it is where our local shooters go so that they can dress up like Serbian militia.

I spent 23 years wearing an RAF uniform and am glad to be rid of it. The only thing that I still use is my old combat jacket.
