Where is the best shop to buy bathroom fittings and kitchen sinks?

We are driving from Calais to Nice via Reims/Lyon and need to stop off at a large store to buy kitchen sink/taps, shower screen & bathroom fittings, any help as to the best place would be greatly received.  I don't think ikea do shower screens?

shops all over France - not the cheapest but the quality seems to be good

 

Alternatively any of the Brico warehouses - Bricomarché, Castorama, Leroy Merlin, Mr Bricolage ...........

Or Brico-Man at Calais, probably the only one that doesn't close for 2 hours at lunch time.

Experience has taught me to stick with Leroy Merlin http://tinyurl.com/yjo5bk . By far the best of the DIY stores that I've tried.

All Leroy stuff is good quality.  It does not pay to buy cheap taps etc. - they block and break down far earlier than a decent quality set.  Buy the best you can afford and avoid the cheap stuff in the depots unless it is only for very occasional use.  That said, the depots also stock good quality stuff alongside the rubbish.  At the very least make sure it is marked "NF", a bit like the British Kitemark (Normes Francaises).
