Yes, Scotland beat the ten year voodoo. However, there is no better team in the world than France if they turn up on the day and want to play. Today they didn't.

Bit dissapointing really, France were not really in the game and could not get throught the Scotish defence. They tried to switch it on in the second half but somebdy forgot to bring the battery. Very dissapointing performance from France, don't write them off yet.

Were Italy robbed, absolutly, that was a try and they should have gone to the camera ref. I don't thing Italy will be so bad this year and might not come last (as normal), they won't win either but they played some good rugby, not quite the pushover they once were.

I cant agree with you more Quillan. That bad decision was the turning point in the game for Italy. They seem to playing better nowadays. They always used to run out steam half way through the second half but now they are playing for the full 80 minutes.

If memory serves me well i think the french were very fortunate in the

Stade de France last year winning in the final two minutes thanks

largely to Scotland getting nervous and failing to clear their lines,

this year Scotland held their nerve to record a fine victory. It makes

you wonder how things may have panned out had Scotland not lost that

opening match last year. And after the fine win on Sunday they may well

fail miserably next weekend at Wales, that's rugby, Hughmandy
