Jackie
I have posted this here as it relates to our garden friends the little lizards that we see every day basking in the sun. I have noted that these little chaps have a somewhat risky existence in that several of them have bits missing quite often. A foot here, a leg there and most frequently a tail shortened. Now I gather that the tail is detachable when grabbed by something hungry but what I am puzzled about is that more than the odd one seems to have grown two tails. Is this because of some injury to the original tail or should I be monitoring the radon gas level in the cellar and worrying about radiation in general? I gather that it can be quite high in the Deux Sevres area.......John in

Jeejee
Could be that you've just got very happy lizards - or does that only apply to dogs?I wouldn't worry about radon gas levels unless they start glowing in the dark.
