Best shrubs for all day shade?

Does anyone have any suggestions on what the best shrub to plant in all day shade? I have just done a search and it appears that most of the shrubs mentioned states some shade. I have a spot in a corner that I would like to plant a few medium to largish shrubs but unfortunately because of the way the wall is situated it is in the shade all day. Does such a plant exist? Thank you in advance.

Spotted Laurel might be suitable. It's tolerant of sun, partial shade or full shade.

 I had a spotted Laurel in a shady place and next to it was a Viburnham, Eva Price - it has flowers from April to December....

Try a mahonia. The variety "charity" is particularly spectacular and even when not in flower it looks good. There are other varieties of different heights and flower structure.

Depending on the depth of shade a Garrya elliptica might work, thats attractive, I wish I had space for one.
