What is this bush, please?

Does someone know the name of this pretty bush, please. About 5m high. Seen near Treignac in May last year.

Searching via Google I'm guessing European Snowball Bush, Viburnum opulus "Sterile", becasuse of the maple shaped leaves.

We saw it growing in thick damp pine forest, so, as it likes "moist yet well-drained humus-rich soil", we can do the well-drained bit, but I don't think it will be a suitable candidate for the rocky, dry clay in what we jokingly call or garden[:(]
