Renal failure/transplant

My husband and i would like to live in France but I have an on-going medical problem.I have had a kidney transplant and whilst I am well at the moment I know that one day the time will come when I shall have to go back onto dialysis.Does anyone have any experience of this?I know that I can't get insurance will the form e111 be enough.The questions really are endless I just want some good advise please.

Form E111 is for visitors, or people on holiday. If you're going to live in France, you can apply for an E106 to tide you over until you get a job in France & then enter their health care system (I don't know if this is what you plan to do). You can get the form for an E106 by phoning 0191 218 7547 (I've just done it!) & I think they issue them with a fixed lifetime of up to 2 years (not sure what happens then). I don't see how an existing condition would affect the type of health care you're entitled to, here or in France.
