Happy Expat
We are moving to France shortly and understand that basically a patient pays 30% of medical fees etc which can be recovered in the correct course of events. My husband has an ongoing cardiac conditon and diabetes which require regular medication. Are medications etc for such conditions subject to the 30% payment or are there arrangements whereby such fees are waived. Any advice welcomed please. Graham & Brenda
Once you are registered with CPAM (see lots of other threads on this subject) your doctor (see yet more threads on choosing a doctor!) will advise them of any qualifying long term medical conditions (ALD). I don't have to pay for my insulin for example.Graham
