pix
Hello Folks, Sorry if this has been asked before but here goes. The family has now made the decision that we are making the move to France (yay!) but we have one mighty important issue needs looking into before our plans can progress further. One of the children (5yrs) is disabled and needs regular hospital treatments plus daily injections. The cost of the medication makes it prohibitively expensive for us to buy privately. We have no idea at this stage how the French healthcare system works and would be grateful for any information you could share with us. Thanks.Lesley P
Val_2
You really should discuss this with the Overseas dept at Newcastle and the French CPAM to see what help,if any, they will award you. Every case is done on it's own merits and this forum is not the place for an exact answer especially if this is the make or break for your move to France. Get it from the official source. Even in France you will still have to pay and also for a top up insurance and medical visits for injections are not free.
