Allergic reaction to drug!

Has anyone ever been prescribed amoxicilline-acide clavulanique? The time I suffered gastric enteritus (last year) I had no reaction...this time after a bout of viral vertigo followed by a very painful ear infection I was prescribed AAC but during the 10 days of prescription it was very painful to take hot food or drink, I lost the use of my taste buds and suffered sores around my mouth. Even now after three weeks I have little saliva and wine tastes disgusting (boo hoo)[:(] all the doctor prescribed was cream for the sore.

I did have to take this soluble powder with painkillers.
