Just because yours says it's from aol, is no guarantee that it is genuine. Delete the email, then selete it again from your deleted emails folder, then run a full scan with whatever anti-virus software you are using. Dick Smith Posted December 13, 2004 Share Posted December 13, 2004 Certainly never answer any email which looks like this - it seems to be the Win32.Mydoom.O worm.If you are unsure, do nothing and check with one of the internet sites which describe all current viruses worms and other nasties. Leschenauds Posted December 13, 2004 Share Posted December 13, 2004 Agree wholeheartedly with the other posters. Once a week, I run (in this order) 1)Spybot S&D 2)Adaware and 3) AVG antivirus. All downloaded and all free (my favourite price).If you still have problems try an online scan from Trend Housecall - It takes some time to load and scan but seems to be the most thorough option.Your best bet for answers to PC problems is www.windowsbbs.com, again, free but VERY helpful.
