carp-guru Posted August 1, 2007 Share Posted August 1, 2007 I am looking at moving to France and am finding it rather difficult deciding the area to live in. It is a move for all the family so schooling needs to be good and the wife is a nurse. Myself I work for a BMW Dealer so am looking for all the boxes to have this criteria. Mr Coeur de Lion Posted August 2, 2007 Share Posted August 2, 2007 For us, we wanted to be in a central position, near the chateaus and not far from Paris. We live in dept 36 which is close to all these. We then found a house in this area (based on certain criteria) on the net, put in an offer, bought it and then moved over. Mark Posted August 2, 2007 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Sounds like you should be in or near a city then, or are you looking for rural tranquillity while being prepared to commute 100kms or so to a BMW place each day?
