  1. I am posting on behalf of my father. He is looking into a property of which he has 90% of the cost of the house. However, being 64 and retiring in August would a mortgage company consider him. He has a income coming in excluding his current job, in order to cover a mortgage . Can anybody suggest a bank / Mortgage company to approach. Thankyou in advance
  2. I hope this is no simple question but this forum has come highly recommended.I have just enrolled in a French class at night school. The concern I have is I find the cousrse exciting but I am having trouble in working with others. By this I mean in order to perfect the language you need to talk. With no one at home to work with is there a way that you can motavate yourself to work at it. I need to learn key phrases and all aspects of pronuntiation but find it difficult on my own. Can it be done in a memborable way or a sure way of which you can learn. Your thoughts would be welcome.
  3. Sorry I will make it clear. I was born in Birmingham and have lived here for 38yrs. I beleive I am a citizen on that basis
  4. Hi Pickles. I work in the UK and am a UK resident for 38yrs so it was a general question. I am looking at moving to France and am looking into the posibility working in/at BMW France . I haden't heard of any problems with employment but I thought I would ask even so.
  5. I am looking at moving to France and am finding it rather difficult deciding the area to live in. It is a move for all the family so schooling needs to be good and the wife is a nurse. Myself I work for a BMW Dealer so am looking for all the boxes to have this criteria.   How did you make the decision on area's ??
  6. Having worked for BMW for several years within the UK do I need a work permit at all , to work in France or the EU for that matter ??
