AnOther Posted June 16, 2007 Share Posted June 16, 2007 I've just got connected with Teleconnect and getting the predicted 2mb so that'a a relief...!The stats in the router actually indicate a possible 6mb so you can be sure I'll be chasing that up very soon, I digress however:Checking out my telephone wiring I notice that there is an earth cable running into the telephone box that but it's not connected to anything. jc Posted June 16, 2007 Share Posted June 16, 2007 Telephone cables were earthed in the UK when there were shared lines;our house still has an earth wire but I doubt it is connected to anything-just left over from when we moved into the house.
