Virgin prepay mobile

Recommended Posts

I've had a Virgin prepay SIM for my mobile phone since July last year. I don't use the phone very much and chose this prepay account because it had a 90-day validity on the top-up amount.

I've just gone online to top-up this evening and find that the prepay accounts are now different (there are now 3 types) and mine is now a "Very Long" [:$] account, and a top-up of 10€ (which is what I used to pay) is only valid for 30 days. 15€ gives 60 days, and it now requires 20€ to give 90 days.

I've tried entering various other amounts and find that you can get 150 days validity by paying 40€ or more. On this basis the cheapest way to top-up is by paying 20€ every 90 days which gives 47 minutes talk time in that period.

Have you looked at leclerc mobile?Credit lasts a year (or longer if you top up in time) €1.50 a month is taken for the priviledge, So If you bought €50 credit, and didn't use your mobile, at the end of the year you would have €32 credit left.
