Lost channels

I keep losing channels. First Radio 4 disappeared, then BBC News 24 and now Channel 4 and Film 4. I've done a new scan but it seems only to find the channels old sites. What am I doing wrong?

Channel 4 has been moving round an awful lot - I assume you're using a non-Sky box (otherwise the positions would update automatically)

How long ago did you lose Radio 4 - it actually moved probably a year ago!

Anyway,  in some circumstances you need to delete the current channel parameters and *then* do a rescan.   If that doesn't work a full factory reset normally sorts it out.

However,  BEFORE you do all that,  are you sure you're using the latest parameters.  See

If you have to do a factory reset,  you may STILL not see all the British channels,  because the "master list" of transponders may not be up to date.   So aftre the initial full scan you may STILl need to manually add the missing transponders.

But before you do the drastic stuff,  first try a manual scan on 10714 MHz  H 22000 kbps and 11954 H  27500 MHz and see what you get.

Thanks for the that. I'll do as you suggest. Yes, Radio 4 did disappear a long while ago but I was able to listen to the cricket commentary on Five Live Extra, so not too bothered.

Just a follow up to this. I tried your first suggestion  - still no joy. I then, with some trepidation, tried a factory reset followed by a blind search and got absolutely everything I needed, so thanks.

So glad you're sorted,   I know all about trepidation and factory resets,  but they generally do the trick.
