woolybanana
It looks as if there will be an 80cm dish already installed at the new house with an LNB aimed at the Astra satellite. Can I get UKTV using this LNB and my own box or are they set differently, svp?
pomme
It depends on which Astra satellite you mean. If it is pointed at the Astra satellites at 28.2°E then yes http://www.lyngsat.com/hd/Astra-2E-2F-2G.html As long as the signal is strong enough you will be able to get the main UK channels with any decoder but a FreeSat box is better if you want a full programme guide. If it is the Astra satellites at 19.2°E then no. The Astra satellites at 19.2°E is the ones which has the French TNTSAT channels. http://www.lyngsat.com/Astra-1KR-1L-1M-1N.html You need a French TNTSAT box and card if you want the French channels. woolybanana
Thanks, Pomme, I rather think it will be aimed at the satellite at 19.2 as the present occupiers are French.
