A dog from the Refuge in Cahors, he is currently being fostered by a local vet. She cannot keep him much longer and he would so love to find a new permanent home (it would be a disaster for him to have to return to the Refuge, which is full to overflowing). Mosca is just over a year old, vaccinated, micro chipped (250 269 201022236) and neutered. He is sociable with other dogs, cats and other animals (after an appropriate introduction of course). Mosca is a lively dog, very intelligent and just waiting for someone to teach him all sorts of things - he would be great at agility! I know that Rowan has had some success with the Collie Association taking some of the collies from Carcassonne refuge as they too have quite a few but are no longer in quite the horrific situation of over crowding that they were in last summer. Merlin Posted December 31, 2010 Share Posted December 31, 2010 Yes I think if you pm Rowan she can give you the details you will need to get in touch with this association - I know they are very pro-active in finding homes - a lot of the time working homes for the breed so it might make sense to try them asap. Jouals Posted January 11, 2011 Author Share Posted January 11, 2011 I am bumping this boy back up to the top - he really deserves to find a good home asap - it would be terrible for him to have to return to the Refuge (full to overflowing as ever). He is still in his foster home for the moment and it would be wonderful if he could be re-homed from there as quickly as possible. He is a friendly young dog ideal for someone who wants a lively, intelligent and devoted companion. If anyone needs more info, let me know.
