I am desperately seeking advice I have a lovely  12 year old son who has a rare genetic illness has had a bone marrow transplant missed the last two years of junior school in uk is now nearly completed his first year in secondary school in uk we all want to move to france and have a place in mind in dept 24 Dordogne near Belves/Monpazier we visited the local college but they would not consider Stephen starting at the college until he had been assessed I am now unsure wether we should look at  private or international schools or even home education I would love to hear from anyone who has had a similar problem or any information on private schools in this area I have considered The International at Bordeaux but not sure about the travelling or should we look at the Tarn area would this give me more choice to find the right school for our son
