To see picturs here they must be on the internet, not just in your picture files. I have a nice rebuilt TransAlp (beadblasted and chemically ruined) that needs fannying with a dainty and deft hand from time to time. Alcazar Posted November 11, 2005 Share Posted November 11, 2005 An excellent degreaser that I've used for years is Wickes Paintbrush Cleaner, the blue stuff. I buy mine 2.5 litres at a go, for cheapness.It'll shift even the dried greasy residue from between mountain bike sprockets, and then is water soluble, so can be removed itself with hot water or hot water and detergent and takes all the muck with it.
