EDF bills

Just had our bill arrive for the last two months and they came to read the meter last thursday - damage is 306,66€ so beware all those folks who like us,pay every two months whatever the invoice is and then catch up twice a year. I have to admit to using the washing machine nearly every day and all day on saturday with the return of the daughter's weekly stuff,the tumble drier since October and we have just had a new electric oven installed last summer so cooking a turkey for a few hours added to the bill. We use our electric heating very sparingly as the wood burner heats the whole house right through but my son does waste energy by leaving a TV on whilst playing on a playstation elsewhere and the computer going as well. Oh well at least no nasty gas bills like we had back inthe UK when £500 was the norm per quarter in the winter as well as the electric bill. Just waiting for the water one to arrive now, expect that will have gone up a great deal too!
