Val_2 Posted April 19, 2005 Share Posted April 19, 2005 No. do not exist in France. If new build propery then the architect/mâitre d'oeuvre do the inspections throughout. This is not the UK where building practices are concerned. For a simple extension without the required architect,then you have to trust your builder I'm afraid. The crap lotissement next to us was never inspected either and has had many serious faults come to light since and that is from someone who worked on it.
