maude Posted April 1, 2010 Share Posted April 1, 2010 it seems that bidets are out of fashion en France for some unknown reason.We had the same problem 7 years ago when refitting the so called french bathroom.It seems to match the same culture of not fitting a wash hand basin in their prediliction for completely seperate toilets.And then there is allegedly all this enforcement in fosse septiques conforming toxxxxxxxxxxx maude Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mint Posted April 10, 2010 Share Posted April 10, 2010 I've got a bidet which doesn't match anything but, as every thing else is white, I don't think anyone even notices (or if they do, they don't comment on it!)I cannot live without a bidet and have installed one wherever I have lived, France or UK. jo Posted April 16, 2010 Author Share Posted April 16, 2010 Spent yesterday in Leroy Merlin, excellent, three walk in showers purchased, they were on special offer, a loo, looked at bidet, also got very nice sink unit at a sale price.
