Sorry, yet another new thread! We got stopped last week , a routine stop at the side of the road, all clear apart from the Gendarme informed my OH he needed to exchange his Spanish driving licence for a French one. (He actually has one point on it, thanks to me, from last year). Yes we paid the fine, assumed we did not need to replace the licence for the point as Spain has the same system of losing points. The licence runs out of date in a year anyway so replacement is needed , what exactly are the documents needed to take for the Prefecture to peruse. I assume they take the old licence off you there and then, what do you produce if stopped by the Gendarmes while waiting the arrival of your French licence?

Spent some time today wandering around, Castorama then Big-Mat , have also done local bricos. Exactly where can I get 28mm pipe and fittings, needed to connect manifolds to heat pump. Castorama had 28mm copper pipe but no fittings.

Spent yesterday in Leroy Merlin, excellent, three walk in showers purchased, they were on special offer, a loo, looked at bidet, also got very nice sink unit at a sale price. Well worth the trip even with the delivery charge, better quality too than Castorama.

Update!!! Yippee!! Got it! Though got completly stressed out over it! It was not the angle the dishfinder said. Working with a compass and angles given.. nothing. Swung it around in fit of pique and about to stomp off into the warm(we were outside with box and tv on a workmate) and up came the perfect picture!! NewSat box , is favorite with hubby as better picture, but I like the sky box as I know it well, tv guide, and I can get more channels. Local brico(yes I know wrong thread !! ) had to order glass, 155 euros and delivery in January, as glass supplier on hol over Christmas. So we have also sat with superstrong araldite and wire, now I´m off for a cosy night in front of the fire and Spooks!! But not before a big thankyou for all your help!!
