To Pachapapa -Not specifically, I was trying to relate your post to installing wood flooring (The subject matter of the thread) and it looked as though you were suggesting that you nailed down 20m2 as your winter project with the 'charpente' (Which I mistakenly took to be woodwork) to be parquet finished ie. a facsimile of woodblock flooring (not usually nailed). Consequently I got top thinking maybe you were talking about some kind of veneered laminate...#

While my interpretation obviously leaves a lot to be desired, I struggle with the relevance of roofing in a flooring thread...silly old Trev...anyways Happy New Year x

Sorry about that but there was a reference to expansion, so presumed the culprit was poplar or a poplar derivative; poplar is very common in the marais poitevin of deux sevres. A lot is used in shalllow sloping roofs 18°-22° suited to terra cotta traditional tiles. Flooring in the form of marine pine at € 8-12 per M2 comes from the landes area further south.
