Hi..

Does anyone have any clever solutions for stealing a bit of light into a potential bathroom that will have a small flat roof (terrace) above it but no windows in the walls? Is there anything that can be put in during the construction stage? Also, the best option for an air outflow?

Many thanks if anyone has any ideas..

What it the terrace floor, bathroom ceiling made of? If it's concrete, you could use spaced glass blocks,  In a similar vane, I have an area under a terrace (concrete) that is dark, but as it was there when we moved I cant use glass blocks. As it's only storage I use a solar light kit, solar panels outside (less than 4 sq inches each, and the wires extended to the lamps inside.

How about putting a dummy parapet wall in with the sun tubes running through the middle so that a) They are up and out of the way b) The walls below get 'light washed' and as round the periphery least likely to be in the shade of the building above?
