Draught proofing.

Our house has 3 enormous south facing sliding windows. The largest being 5 metres across, the smallest 3.5 metres. Wonderful but they doe let a hell of a draught under them via the rollers they sit on. Several years back I had the idea of putting a strip of foam in the slot at the bottom. I used some of the grey water pipe insulation sliced down its length for the job. It has been very successful and stops the draught in its tracks

How do you do your draught proofing and before anyone says about it being necessary to have free flowing air in the house we have a dammed great open fireplace that more than makes up for it [:-))]
