1. As the owners wish to maximise their revenue, seems more adverts appear all over the screen. The loading page leaps around all over the place for 20 seconds until all the adverts have loaded.Anyone else suffering this or do I just need to buy a better popup blocker?
2. You may get a poorer flame or flaring from using the incorrect reg, probably flaring on your situation if anything at all.  There are many universal regs around now which can do either gas and it's often the jet size at the other end which determines the burn.  Not likely to do anything serious unless as you are using it you observe something amiss in which case you'll probably not continue to use it anyway. Not much chance in you joining the international space station!
3. Multipoint lock mechanisms are not new, they became the UPVC door lock of choice because UPVC door are so easy to break into. In fact a multipoint mechanism on a UPVC door is also pretty useless if it doesn't have top and bottom shoot bolts and just locks into keeps along the side. It's the rotation of the handle that makes the difference for the OP some only go about 110 deg to cover 90 deg and a bit of tolerance in fitting. Other will go further, it's usually down to the little cam inside.
4. Seconded!!Of the two, I know which one I would rather hear from!
5. Don't worry Richard will be along soon to tell you barrel hinges aren't handed [geek]

8.
I did use bleach, that was ok for a fosse septic.
Idun, there is no bleach that is ok for a fosse septic. It's more that a little bleach won't kill off all the gremlins digesting the waste.
9. Eric, not so much fake news, more a p1ss take out of the charade that is brexit. Brits are well known for it, its a sign of desperation and a willingness not to loose our sense of humour [:D]
10. How about an advert on here? not the forum the magazines attached to the forum. Also Survive France Network will allow a free advert.
11.
Like we're all queuing up to fly Romanian Airlines? What a disappointment.
We aren't but how are "they" all going to get home after March 29?
12.
Is it really that expensive? We pay .0856€ per KWH (HT) What is expensive is the abondement and all the taxes they add on. If I divide my last bill by the KWH used, it comes out at 18 centimes a KWH.
Hope you understand why I asked nomoss.  I think we may have had a similar discussion a couple of years back which i never got to the bottom of.  Still have the calcs written down in one of my data log books.
13. €0.1382 ends up closer to €0.18 after taxes? In the UK some companies charge a standing charge never tried to calculate the comparison.
14. Funnily for now but will change with brexit, a fair portion of the electricity probably comes from France
15.
The place was a nightmare he said. He retired as soon as possible, afte having a couple of years off with a stress related illness.
He, of course saves on electricity as he actually glows in the dark [:D]
16.
How come they missed off Tours? Shameful! ;-)
Seconded
17. So go with what you feel comfortable with. 25% seems very common.
