Hi, I did exactly the same thing a number of years ago, thinking I'd bagged a bargain. The problem arose when connecting to the water supply as the French did not recognise 15mm piping. I was fortunate in having a neighbour, an engineer, who adapted the pipework for me, but be aware that the connection may be a problem. Another thing which may affect you is the water quality. My property is in the Indre et Loire in a limestone area and the build-up of scale on the element was very rapid so that the useful life of the shower was limited. Regards, Kilnfield
