  1. You wanna see and hear the jets here, never mind helis but they have to be somewhere, they are looking after us! cant just shove em off? I get really upset when them big low flying planes come over and horses go mad, but as i say they are there for us. [8-|]
  2. Ah shame. but any one else not too far away, its worth thinking about. i had such a great day i am going back end of august just for the shopping!!!!!!!! jersey cream, milk, sausages, for them not me, english sliced bread, all sorts. we gonna go and stock up for an english  weekend just for our son, who dosent remember any of this, except for marmite!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Russet house Sorry didnt know that word! but then. i am definitley one of those, cant spell it, wthout looking above. but believe me i get so much s^&* am i allowed to say that? by vegatarians because i admit i eat, sorry, not fish but sea food. i never used to enjoy eating meat as a child but was forced too . then i ate for many years as i thought was normal and neccasary. now , freedom.
  4. Me and other half went over to Jersey last week to specsavers. 152 euro for ferry with car, so i could go shopping, 175 pound for 3 pairs glasses, 2 for me and one for o h and tests, and ready in one hour 10 mins. and a day out as well. long day yes, 2 and a half hours on ferry, return, and 6 hours driving. fantastic service. could have had varie focal but would have had to wait 10 days and return. after being told here appointment would be a 6 month wait i was considering england but looked at ferry prices! good option if you are  not too far from st malo.
  5. I knew i had missed something....am having blonde day!!!!!!!! yes tegwini, hate pizza but love leek tart, 3 cheese, mushroom tourte etc but so much fresh veg available you dont need to buy ready made.  I have been told off cause i eat sea food, so cant be vegetarian!? we do have a shop that sells it all but i prefer at this time of year to make for myself.
  6. powerdesal i was talking france not uk. or did i miss something?
  7. TREAD CAREFULL HERE, HOW DID SHE TAKE IT
  8. But as a country that is the best in the world in cooking they have all they need.
  9. oops, sorry looks like i got lost a long way down on your replys.
  10. Well all i can say is that they were not vegatarian. maybe practising? you do not need linda mc pies, pasties or anything else. sorry am i allowed to say that? and if they looked in the supermarkets they would have found loads. or cooked ther own meals? too difficullt? I have only been vegetarian for 6 months.  and not beause i am anti, purely because i dont like meat anymore and havent enjoyed for years......mind you i will shoot anyone round here that eats horse meat!........... If you deciede not too eat  meat, there are so many meals you can enjoy, and i am not preaching but my other half and son have also started to enjoy what i eat at lunch, and always eat what they want in the evening. i will get there! no, joking. individual taste.  and as for quorn? does everybody think vegartarians eat it? i think it is disgusting, fresh veg and sorry if this offends but i eat fish as well.
