i have done four one way trips with speedferries in the last month,all for less than 60 euro,with no problems whatsoever,i booked a trip for some friends via the internet, a return from france and they said the ferry broke down on friday 6th but speedferries were excellent providing free refreshments etc and keeping everyone up to speed.this is a new service offering the cheapest prices around and with only one ferry in service the occasional letdown is inevitable but if everyone supports them then they may be able to afford a second vessel.

where exactly are you in limousin,i am in creuse and our chambre de metiers is in gueret,you will have to go on a one week course before you can register,i went on one last month and because there were so many brits on the course they provided us with a translator for two days and told us we have to come back and complete the last three days in september which is when the next course is due to be held.can i also ad that our local chambre is very helpful to the british.

which sadolin woodstain are you using? is it sadolin extra which comes in a yellow tin or classic which comes in a green tin,both are excellent products and i would have thought classic was the better on for what you want. sadolin also do a water based woodstain for external woodwork which lets the wood breath and is also equally as good.

you are probably paying a lot of money to get your dream home built only to spoil it by doing the decorating yourself,do'nt forget the decorator does'nt just slap paint on the walls he makes good all the mistakes made by other trades and his finish is the most important as he is the last tradesman to work on your home.i have been a decorator for 24 years and it never ceases to amaze me that people will spend thousands on building or renovating a home only to spoil the finish by doing the decorating themselves to save a few grand anyway good luck to you
