Hello from not so sunny belfast !! last year I talked to a member called frambiose and she recommended a lovely b and b for our bike trip to Le Mans . If you are out there please contact re details of the boys place as we d like to use it again this year .Hi also to Cooperlola also very helpful last year ,Kevin

Yes we had a really exellent trip ,some lovely off motorway excursions . I really love the back roads and the villages ,cliched but true none the less. Chaos reigned at le Mans Bugatti circuit  but after a little walking around we found our stand .A dry race for the first time in a few years ! Rossi won , a good day.Thanks again people for your help , Kevin, in a very sunny Belfast .  

 Anybody looking for a b and b in Gace could do no better than le Rocher owned and run by Rob and Graham , best hospitality we have ever received , simply perfect . Kevin

Hi Mike we paid 100 euro , thats for all days and numbered seats in Carrefour grandstand . We always book through Bigrock in UK now part of Grandstand . Kev.

Ten more days to till our trip down to Le Mans moto gp !!! Just got tickets in the post , really looking forward to it and hope to meet some of you guys !! Kevin .  

Well lucky old you ! Had that same spell of sunny cold weather here in Belfast and got the bike out for the first run of the year up to the Antrim coast .Beautiful ! Looking forward to some some time in France this year !!

Cheers , thats a really interesting link , will use that now and later in the year when my wife and me take a motoring tour of Northern France .Our Sat night stop in May is in Laval so we will ride through the countryside you mention ! Thanks for your input ,Kev.

hello all ,kevin from belfast ,first post . My daughters boyfriend and myself are riding our bikes to le mans this year arriving sat 17th  on  the ferry to roscoff from Ireland and leaving on the mon eve from Cherbourg 19 th. Any ideas on nice Fench small hotels in maybe Tours to Le mans for sat and somewhere nortt towards the port sun night would be appreciated.Looks like main roads to cover distances but maybe some one could suggest a little off motorway section. Any ideas ? thanks guys kevin.
