  11.    I am after some advice and to ask if people think the following are any good. I have a computer scan programme called "windows clear"made by Weskysoft inc and it supposedly scans my computer to check for errors or any damaged systems and then fixes it,every time i use it now it says that i have over 100 registry errors. It is supposed to repair them but i get the same every time i scan,is this sort of thing a waste of time and is there a better way of checking and fixing any problems. Thanks, John

  20. just found this on another wildlife site,as i asked the question there. No, not mole crickets, not even Field crickets BUT voles, so not even an insect. They will be either Common vole, (Campagnol des Champs), or Field vole, (Campagnol Agreste), or perhaps both. Strangely the English name Field vole doesn't correspond with the French Campagnol des Champs AND the Common vole isn't present in the UK.... ....BUT there is a sub species the Orkney vole (Microtus arvalis orcadensis) found on the islands of Rousay, Mainland, Sanday, Westray and South Ronaldsay in the Orkney Islands, Scotland. The subspecies was introduced to the islands 5,000 years ago, possibly on the boats of Neolithic settlers. http://www.arkive.org/orkney-vole/microtus-arvalis-orcadensis/#text=Range So you can tell them that on the other forum. Confused?

Any help would be appreciated, John
  25. Thanks everyone for the link and advice it looks like the answer, can anyone tell me if you put this inside the barn but a vent its OK,the reason i ask is that our barn roof is very high and a sharp slope and i don't fancy getting up there .I thought about cutting the pipe inside and putting the vent by one of the breather vents to take out the gas. Thanks for all your help, John
