No I do not want to block the pipe up as that would be asking for trouble i just want to stop the smell as we have a gite,i have seen ones you sit on the top and they have i think got carbon in them to take out the smell.

Can anyone advise if it is possible to get a filter to stop the smell out of the breather pipe in septic tank that fits in line,our pipe sticks out the top of our barn and i do not fancy going up there to fit a cap on the top. Thanks for any advice and if its possible what its called in france.

Can anyone help please everytime i try and use email a box pops up asking for my network password its already in the box or if i retype it and click ok it comes back not correct,how do i stop this as it only started today. Thanks

         Is there a way of retrieving photos once you have deleted them on your computer,as i have just done this with some photos my wife wanted me to print but somehow i have deleted.I thought once a friend of mine here somehow got into my system and found all the old deleted files.

Ok thanks for that was just hoping that there was an easy way to resolve this and get some stress out of our lives,we will just have to let the french legal system grind its way to a result.

      Can anyone advise me if we have been told correctly that there is an ombudsmen in France you can turn to if your  court case seems to have come to a halt,we have been going through a legal battle with the previous owners for 4 years now.We have been told that you can go to a government department and get a free ruling if its needed,but usually if you mention the ombudsmen things seem to happen. Any help would be appreciated and we live in sarthe near la ferte bernard, Thanks. john

   I have just managed to download version 10 from the cnet site but it does not seem  to allow me to burn a DVD from my computer ,is it because i need to plug my camera in and start again and load it straight into Nero.I have it already on my computer under videos which i downloaded using movie maker,sorry this seems vague but this is all new to me and as you can see I'm struggling. Sorry i am back just tried to download nero 9 and i got this message come up, You don't have permission to access /PUB/a3dfff5de7fdd1e13df4b032c4c995aa/Nero-9.4.12.708b_lite.exe on this server. what do i do to get around this if i can at all. John

Hi, Only just got around to have the time to sit and look at this,will go with the Nero i think and download it tomorrow. Thanks to everyone that sent in suggestions.

         Can anyone recommend a download for a good and easy to use dvd burning site,i have home videos on my computer but cannot burn them to dvd.

Hi, Yes it plays dvds and its a samsung super wtite master if that helps i cannot see any other numbers on it,when i had it fitted back in england i told the shop i wanted it to burn dvds and they said this would.

   Not sure this is the correct place for this but here goes,after a lot of problems with my computer and trying to copy onto DVDs from my video camera i have at last got it sorted.The problem i n the end was the DVD player in the computer,my problem now is when i download the video with windows movie maker it will only burn onto Cd's not DVDs,can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong. Hello, Not sure about the tax side of things and there are a lot of money transfer companies out there,but we use moneycorp and have for the last 4 years and have never had a problem.They only charge 10 pounds and the transfer usually goes through in a day.

   Can anyone advise as a fix for our sky freesat on the radio side,we can pick up radio 1,2,3,4 and 5 live and all the BBC type ones.We have suddenly found that we cannot get stations like heart,classic gold etc it comes up with the warning that no satellite signal is being received,we used to get all the stations on freesat radio.
