I completed my 'paper' Tax return on 10th may 2009 for Tax year 2008 and delivered to my Local Tax office in Ruffec, Charente on that Day. I am still waiting to get my notification paperwork of any Tax due, does any one know when this is form due to arrive and the due date of any Tax payment? Regards, Ian Rough.

C'Energie Does anyone know whether the renewable energy company called C'Energie  been taken over as they ceased trading in March?  We bought a system with them, along with an extended service contract and it would seem that we have now lost the 2.400 Euros that we spent with them for a seven contract that should start next month!

Please did anyone receive a letter around March 2009 telling them that the renewable energy company 'C'energie' was going into liquidation and if so was there any mention of a take over?

Hi Pierre, I have checked policy and it is in the name of C'Energie not an insurance company so that is that! I though I had posted this on The Forum, how do I do that then? Ian

Does anyone know whether the renewable energy company called C'Energie has gone bust or been taken over, or anything?  We bought a system with them, along with an extended service contract and yesterday when we rang there was no reply from any of their offices and we went along to the office at Vars which was firmly closed, shutters down and no notice on the door.

Hi there, I am having similar problems, I am running a second computer(Which will be my only computer when this is sorted) on Vista and I can not configure the Sagem dongle that I have been using with my XP computer. I have the new software disc from Orange loaded on my Vista computer and it will go on line via the CAT 5 cable but not the dongle, do I need to buy a new dongle for Vista? Regards, Ian Rough. 

I have used an on-line account to file my French Tax returns for the last two years and he has made some errors so I am going to file on-line myself for 2007. My accountant had declared PAYE salary in TRAITEMENTS, SALAIRES BOX AJ and my UK Bank Gross interest in REVENUS DES VALEURS ET CAPITAUX MOBILIERS BOX TR does anyone know it this correct? Ian Rough.

We have been here since June 2005 not working and are early retirees and our E106 expired Jan 2007 We do receive around £6,000 P.A. PAYE plus savings interest from The UK which was declared on our French Tax return. The CPAM asked for our Carte Vitales back last year, and then subsequently returned them saying they were valid till end March 2008.  We haven't been in to the CPAM yet to sort out next steps.  But we have now received a letter and bills from the URSSAF, Union de Recouvrement des Cotisations de Securite Sociale et D'Allocation Familiales asking for payments for 2007.  Has anyone else received this and does anyone know if it is to do with CMU contributions?

Yes Clair, We bought The System in August 2006 but got married in France on 20th Oct 2006 so we had to submit two Tax returns and my accountant  declared it on my return and not the joint one, he has now 'washed his hands' of the subject, but as we bought the system in the year we got married I wonder if it could have been delcared on the joint return? We installed a Chauffage reversible system last year in our house and were told by CENERGIE (the suppliers) that we would get a 50% refund of the cost of the equipment, we declared the 17,000Euros on our 2006 French Tax Return (the cost of equipment less installtion) and only received 25%. When we asked our tax office in Ruffec why this was, they told us that there was a ceiling of 8,000Euros and we were being paid 50% of that! Has any one else had this problem? Ian Rough.
