3. It's a great day out!!   Get the full ticket for the pits and the circuit - it's great  to wander around to the diferent areas. We usually set up a picnic base on the grass banks and everyone comes and goes as they please - this year I've got my Dad and brothers - so I won't be able to come on the bike[:(]   and I think they have a speed restriction in place this year.boo.

5.

I seem to recall many tales from the Isle of Man,
One should never listen to tales where motorbikes are involved, they are quite often lies put about by people who think that bikes passing their houses are doing 100mph when in fact they are the local youths on 125s with noisy exhausts and are only capable of 65 mph.
...and here's me thinking they were mopeds!!     nice Truimph Bug bear - I shall keep an eye out for you!!
6.
Mechanical failings are something Honda riders know nothing about[:D][;-)]
[;-)]   Unfortunatley I need my Duke to appreciate my honda!!!!
7.
Hi Sam. What have you done with that Beautiful manicured lawn you had???                                                   Mr W.
the fosse septique had to be installed, we also  'lost' those 3 enormous trees[:(] but it's looking better now.
8. I can recomend avon SSS too!!!
9. That's a fantastic collection of stakes and hammers!! I'm a metalworker too! I have  a huge slice of a tree trunk that I got from one of the local farmers - would something like that be good to sit the anvil on?
10. Hi josa! I love the build quality of the hondas, however for complete pose value this is my other bike (currently in UK) Trust the bikers to be so friendly!! I was becoming a bit dis-heartened with some of the 'expat' forums (for want of a better description) but you guys on here are great!! :huge giant smile:
11. Hi Jude! Look forwards to meeting you all!!! I'm 5'9" so most bikes are OK for me, but I only weigh 58kgms and occassionally find the older muscle bikes handle better for me with a pillion. Or (what usually happens) all the camping luggage piled on the back. While my partner rides his single seat flat-tracker luggage & bag free. The only bike I ever struggled with for size was the original Triumph speed triple, it was such a stretch! One of the funniest memories of my little CM125 was in London, through rush hour traffic with a 6 foot male pillion - we must have looked rediculous!!!!!
12. Hi! I'm very near Sauze, only problem is you guys are off a few hours after I get in from saturday nights out!!!!!! also, now the summer market season has arrived I'm fairly booked up at weekends, all work no play here for me I'm afraid - but I will turn up one day. The first time I ever sat on a CB1000, I was on 125cc 'L' plates. I thought I'd never be able to ride anything so huge!!! I sold my little CM125 and bought a GS1100 shaft drive which I ratted! Fell off it plenty of times[:$] got my big bike confidence and have never looked back since. Oddly enough, I've also done quite a bit of microlighting in the vale of York (Rufforth) fantastic experience.
13. Just thought I'd post a pic of my lovely CB1000, taken in January this year.
14. ah the Paso! I always disliked the look of this bike, but I borrowed one and it changed my opinion of it.... handles like a dream, so nice to ride. [:)]
15.
Dear Angela Thanx, a small technical hitch, A & E too close on the keyboard!  No problem & no offence taken!  South Africans have broad shoulders, as Kevin Pietersen will confirm!! Postie
......and large fingers[Www]         [:)]
16. Has anyone had any wierd experiences with these in the supermarkets? My poor neighbour set one off yesterday on her way IN to the store!!!!!! She was taken to the managers office and made to remove her Jacket which it seemed was the culprit for setting off the machine. The jacket in question was bought in Disneyland Paris last year!!! She was offered no appologies for the inconvenience.
17. I have a ducati 750ss currently in UK, but I'm hoping to get it here soon, I've heard stories about difficulties with old dukes, is it as straightforward as all other bikes? [:)]
