1. Just a brief word and some photos of our trip. It was good to see everyone again and have a chat.  The weather was much kinder this time, not too hot and no rain. This was another fine opportunity for all of us to further refine our equipment and hone our camping skills.  A big thanks you to Liz and Brian for their hospitality and excellent food.   The arrival of the not so fab four with Simon's son Richard Andy Gary Simon and son Me Phil setting up camp and the rest of us Gary cooking using his space age cooking stand Simon's  plate rack.  Perhaps the most suitable use for a Triumph yet?
2. Providing the weather's not rubbish, I'll be there.
3. Provided it's not forecast rain all day, I'll be there. I'm not trying to be pedantic, but re the rendezvous.  Is that the Intermarche at Savigne, or is there one in Civray that I don't know about?
4. Well I've already expressed an interest in going on Sunday dependant on whether I will be available.  I'm waiting on a friend who needs me to go with him to the UK to pick up a new car.  Unfortunately I will only get a few days notice. I'd appreciate it Gary if you would hang on to one of those tickets for me should I be able to make it. So how's the new bike going, are you getting used to it yet?
5. Got guests on the 9th but I'll try to sneak out.
6. Barring any unforseen circumstances, I'll be there. Ron
7. I’ll try and make it, but as is the law of sod, we’ve got guests on Friday and Saturday night. If I can pack them off early, I’ll be there.
8. Glad to hear you are back in the saddle and enjoying the freedom of two wheels again. Whilst I’ll confess that as an old rocker from the sixties I have always quite irrationally hated scooters, they do look to be a lot of fun. I myself bought a Honda ST70 Dax (one up from a monkey bike) in mint condition from my brother about five years ago. I kidded myself that it was not a scooter because at the time, due to illness, I thought that it was about the only thing I would be able to ride. It was great fun and I gave many people a damn good laugh as I passed them by. It was riding this machine that made me realise that my condition, if managed properly meant that I could ride at speeds over 30mph. Well I’ve got the bigger bike now and the speeds to go with it so my poor old Dax has been left for the past three years in my garage sad and unused. Well my conscience got the better of me and about three weeks ago I got her French plates. I just can’t stop wizzing round on her. I’ve got my maps strapped on the bars just like I’m doing ‘The knowledge’ and I’ve been places I would never dream of going on my Bandit. It’s light, it’s fun and uses about a thimble full of fuel each trip. Yes, who cares what you ride? If your having fun that’s all that matters. To quote an old proverb, it’s not the size, it’s how you use it. Sorry, Parkas, Vespas and Lambrettas still make me feel uneasy.
9. Sorry, off to Rouille carnival on Sunday.  Saturday's good but don't bother putting anyone else out just for me, the weathers on the turn and there will be plenty of other days from now on.
