Well, all end well ! He has found a home with a lonely widow. It's a beautiful love story. My friend has told the man what had happened and saw him cringe with shame. May be, he will have learned something. Love and innocence has won over barbary and ignorance.

This lady friend of mine rang me, quite desperate. She has rescued  a 5 year old Labrador from a not very nice man (to say the least) who has kept him chained since he had him and wanted to shoot him because he doesn't bark at the postman... She took him in (the dog, not the man) and had him looked at by the vet, vaccinated and anything else. He is absolutely adorable, very gentle and she must find a home for him asa she can't keep him much longer. I will ask her for a photograph. He is in South Vendée, near Fontenay le Comte. Please, please, help !!!

I lnow how you feel... I can't help you with a male kitten but I can help you with a male golden labrador. A beautiful 5 year old who is desperatly looking for a home, his ex-owner wanting to shoot him beacause he didn't bark at the postman !!!! He is simply gorgeous, very kind, vaccinated and the lot.
